What is DayQuil? DayQuil Severe Cold and Flu is a mixture of medicine that we use to treat headaches, fever, body pains, cough, chest congestion, nasal congestion & sinus congestion caused by allergies, colds, or flu. It does not treat a cough induced by smoking, asthma, or emphysema. DayQuil may also be used for purposes not listed in this treatment guide. But the question here is can DayQuil make your stomach hurt?

What should we do before taking this medicine?

Do not take this medicine if you have taken an MAO inhibitor in the last fourteen days. A harmful medical interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors possess furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, and tranylcypromine.
Ask your physician or druggist if it is safe for you to take this pill if you have other medical diseases, especially; liver disorder, alcoholism, or if you drink more than three alcoholic drinks a day. High blood pressure, heart disease, coronary artery disease, or a recent heart attack, diabetes, glaucoma, epilepsy or other seizure disorder, enlarged prostate or problems, urinating, cough with phlegm or cough caused by emphysema or chronic bronchitis. How should I take DayQuil?
